STRATEGY & EXPERIENCE

The original Tulous were circular structures in which entire communities lived, worked and socialised under one roof. Tulu is a contemporary twist on the original. A premium hostel experience, it consists of private rooms and shared facilities including a lively bar, work spaces, kitchen, lounge and dining areas, and a gym.

We collaborated closely with the founder to establish a bold and distinctive brand to bring to life the creative and unique proposition of Tulu. We defined the principles that guide product development and the guest experience, and we created a visual identity that we applied across all tangible touchpoints including signage, uniforms and collateral. We also played an advisory role on the interiors, ensuring the brand came to life in the spaces.

Tulu has launched in Beijing, and we continue to support them as they prepare to expand through Hong Kong and mainland China.

 

The supergraphic is inspired by a travel journal, the assortment of stamps, stickers, postcards, photos and other souvenirs a traveller tends to collect on their journey. The objects have been cut out roughly to reflect the style of a scrapbook
