STRATEGY & EXPERIENCE

Spaceworks Tacoma is a public private initiative in the city of Tacoma, Washington, in partnership with the Tacoma City Chamber. Initially set up in 2010 as an economic tool to fill vacant storefronts with young creative businesses and artists, Spaceworks Tacoma has since grown as a nonprofit organization to offer a wide variety of services and programs, from business training to co-working space, exhibition space, and more.

However, while Spaceworks’ offerings have evolved, its messaging and brand has remained the same, leading to great confusion about what Spaceworks is and does with all of its target audiences, from clients to customers and funders.Understanding of Spacework’s evolved offerings, however, is low, which is why we are currently working with Spaceworks to refine their brand identity, communications, and messaging strategy, as well as their website. Together, we are currently working together to create a rejuvenated Spaceworks Tacoma brand, visual identity, and marketing and communications strategy. Current anticipated launch date is October 2017. The following slides have examples of Spaceworks’ final brand identity, and select examples of Spaceworks’ new brand architecture.
