Populus – Breathing life into numbers

Populus, our partner company, came to us to refresh their identity.

We worked with them to refresh their visual identity across all touchpoints, including their website. As well as designing a streamlined user experience, we adopted a content and consumer centric approach to the development of their digital strategy and introduced illustrations to their visual identity to bring this content to life. We continue to work with Populus and produce all illustrations in-house.

We came to BrandCap with a website that had not changed to match the growing number of different services we offer our clients and did not convey a sense of the dynamic and expanding business we have become.

The BrandCap team’s challenge was to design a new website that accurately reflected our business and our capabilities. As well as being informative, visually appealing and user-friendly, it needed to allow us to demonstrate our expertise in more consumer focused research, without alienating clients who look to us for political and stakeholder research and strategic advice.

Throughout the project there was a real sense of partnership and collaboration with the BrandCap team. We appreciated and benefited hugely from their creative and technical expertise, whilst they were open to all of our feedback and requirements.

The end result is a fresh and modern website that is simple to use and sets us apart from our competitors. BrandCap’s talented designers were able to develop a new visual identity that allows us to differentiate the various parts of our business. Each business now has its own colour palette and distinctive style of illustration, each of which sit beautifully together on the site. The site also offers the perfect platform for us to publish our content.
As a result of BrandCap’s work we now have a website which provides a true insight into the nature of our business and will play a key role as we continue to grow."
