The Productivity Leadership Group, a business-led initiative spearheaded by Sir Charlie Mayfield, was formed in 2015 with the goal of closing the productivity gap between the most and least productive businesses in the UK.
The statistics show that Britain’s businesses are lagging behind other OECD countries in productivity. The PLG was set up with some of the most powerful figures in British business to directly tackle it. This is to be achieved through providing the tools, resources, connections and inspiration that are necessary to affect change.
They approached us requiring a brand they could take to market. We started with a name and identity designed to inspire action amongst British businesspeople – Be The Business. Alongside Adam&Eve/DDB & Firefly Digital, we created an identity dynamic enough to reflect the ambition of the group, but serious enough to demonstrate the value of the service to a business audience.
